Are there any exercise videos out there that you would recommend as a substitute for the TYT routines?

No, I’m afraid there are no videos in existence that I endorse or that would serve as adequate substitutes for the TYT routines. The reasons for this are somewhat involved and refer back to the exercise theories expounded in chapter 7.

In short, the TYT routines, which took years of theory to develop and months of practical application and dozens of test subjects to test and fine-tune, are truly unique and are one of the three essential cornerstones to the success of the program-- the other two being the anti-inflammatory elimination diet and ultra-refined fish oil.
There are no other workouts quite like them. They might look simple and, in terms of execution, they are. However, they are the only routines in existence that combines safe, non-impact weight-bearing movements with infinite degrees of freedom (i.e. no motion-range limitations), with special emphasis on the major muscle groups (the ones that burn fat) while providing balanced, full-body resistance training (for increased strength and coordination, not to mention symmetrical physique development and improved posture), core training (for injury prevention), lactate training (for increased stamina and as a spring board to sports and more intense athletics), all the while spiking your heart rate every three minutes (harnessing the groundbreaking discovery of increased GH release in women for increased oxygen deficit and DRAMATIC fat burning IN BETWEEN your workouts). Plus, they were designed with a built-in mechanism for a lifetime of progress as your conditioning improves and they can all be completed in under 30 minutes a day.

A different combination of quartets (in ascending order of difficulty) make up the 20 (3 quartets), 25 (4 quartets), and 30 minute (5 quartets) routines. Each routine is meticulously organized to provide a balanced, full-body workout that will provide a symmetrical physique and a youthful posture. For many movements there are several different levels of difficulty to accommodate increases in strength and conditioning.

Each quartet:
1-spikes your heart rate to harness a groundbreaking physiological mechanism that will increase fat burning even after you stop working out
2-includes at least one exercise that targets a large muscle group to maximize fat burning around problem areas
3-includes at least two core movements for improved balance, coordination, injury prevention, and to stimulate the muscles that contribute to a youthful posture and fluid bearing
4-provides safe, low to nonimpact movements that virtually anyone can do anywhere-- even if its been years since you exercised
