Hi Dr Chris,

I've found that most retailers/pharmacies/health food stores in Australia sell a combined Calcium & Magnesium tablet. I am currently using one called "calcium complete" that contains 100mg Ascorbic acid (vit C); Calcium (as carbonate) 400mg & Magnesium (as oxide) 200mg. The amounts fall within the numbers you mention in the book for weeks 1-3 but if I'm OK with dairy in week 4 (and ongoing) I will have the problem of getting enough Magnesium or too much calcium depending on the nuber of tablets I take.

I have managed to find a company that manufactures and sells individual Calcium & Magnesium supplements and wonder if you could cast your eyes over the ingredients to see if they are OK for me to take.

Magnesium plus essential minerals Zinc,
Selenium and Chromium.
Each tablet contains:
Magnesium amino acid chelate 500 mg
Equiv. elemental Magnesium 50 mg
Magnesium Oxide (Heavy) 256 mg
Equiv. elemental Magnesium 150 mg
Zinc sulfate monohydrate 27.5 mg
Equiv. elemental Zinc 10 mg
Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vit. B6) 25 mg
Chromic chloride 1.0 mg
Equiv. elemental Chromium 200 mcg
Selenomethionine 31.3 mcg
Equiv. elemental Selenium 12.5 mcg

Calcium
Each tablet contains:
Hydroxyapatite 1000 mg
Equiv. elemental Calcium 255 mg
Equiv. elemental Phosphorus 120 mg
Calcium hydrogen phosphate 474.5 mg
Equiv. elemental Calcium 111.5 mg
Borax (Sodium Borate) 8.9 mg
Equiv. elemental Boron 1.0 mg
Phytomenadione (Vit. K) 27.0 mcg
Cholecalciferol (Vit. D3) 8.3 mcg
Equiv. Cholecalciferol 333.3 IU

Thanks in advance and keep up the good work.
